Well, just signed on to document more weight loss efforts and stumbled across my old blog, Seems I can't quite get this to stick. This go 'round, let's hope for the best. I'm pretty sure I am gluten intolerant so am trying to eliminate gluten from my diet. I did so successfully for about a month and felt really great, but it's an easy bandwagon to fall off of. Anyways, I have found an awesome app-myfitnesspal to count and log the calories I eat and am embarking on this journey once again.
Day 2-Veggies and water abound. Slipped around lunch time and ate a chicken burrito from taco bell. Managed to avoid the crunchwrap supreme though (my favorite) and still stayed in my calorie goal for the day. Got some exercise running around, watching my godbaby, more planned for tomorrow, gym too.

This is it
I have decided that this is the time to get my life in order. School is done, so no more distractions there. First step in this "getting life in order" plan was joining weight watchers and beginning my "lifestyle change" to lose weight and be healthier. I've procrastinated long enough, and now that I don't have classes and homework to focus on, I plan on putting more effort into eating healthier and exercising more. I feel as if I am making a new year's resolution in September. Except, this decision won't be cast off and forgotten the way many resolutions seem to be. I'm not sure what to write in this blog, but thought it might be good to journal my "journey" even if it's just for myself. So, please excuse my tenous, wobbly-legged, rambling attempt at blogging.
I feel pretty good about my choices so far today, although I've only been awake for a few hours, so there hasn't been much room for poor choices. I had scrambled eggs, with one egg and one egg white for breakfast, and some organic, fibery cereal with soy yogurt (which was surprisingly very tasty). I am working on my first two glasses of water and will be heading out shortly for a bike ride with my dad. I have also decided to nix my soda habit. I often drink diet soda, which for a while I kidded myself that there was nothing wrong with drinking diet because it didn't have the calories of regular soda. I am aware that it is bad for me also and have noticed that I drink entirely too much of it. So, today is my first day of forgoing soda all together and replacing it with water.
